This was Grady’s first novel, and it was an impressive debut. Grady’s writing style is simplistic and taut, and he is writing in an era ripe with paranoia and suspicion of the government. I enjoyed this fast paced, suspenseful tale and enjoyed the reminder that there was a time when intellect and observation were the tools more prevalent than technology. A classic spy thriller.
