Authors H-N

Our Kind of Cruelty

Highly recommended for fans of psychological thrillers revolving around the mindset of a stalker and for fans of tales with a pointed feminist agenda.

The Dry

While I appreciate a mystery that remains unsolved in my own mind until the author’s reveal, I found myself coming away from the read with an overall impression of a slow plod from beginning to end that largely remained uneventful and unsurprising.

Munich

Though there were moments of breathless intrigue and suspense, this was largely a slow read that required a suspension of belief in a number of places and contained dialogue that read stiltedly and awkwardly.

Highly recommended for fans of courtroom dramas and thrillers based on factual historical events

An Officer and a Spy

The Warehouse

Rob Hart’s dystopian thriller, The Warehouse, is made all the more chilling by its disturbing plausibility.
