I know I can always count on the author to create a cast of noir characters who are neither good nor bad, simply messily, authentically human with an intriguing psychopath or two added to the mix.
Her Every Fear is an unsettling exploration of questionable sanity, voyeurism, and murder set within the tight confines of an upscale apartment with as many doorways as there are secrets.
Though far from the author’s best effort, The Girl with a Clock for a Heart was an enjoyable read and I will be looking forward to his upcoming release.
